Course Goal: To prepare persons selected to be fire police officers to understand how to operate and perform the basic duties of the position. Course Description: This course provides instruction on the proper method to be appointed, the laws pertaining to fire police, fire police powers, and the expected duties of a new fire police officer. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18 years old at start of course, and certificate for IS-100.B: Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100. Student Equipment & Supplies: Pen/Pencil, Notebook; and PPE. Course is a PSFA CEU program. Total hours = 16, CEUs = 1.6
