Man Vs Machine – Awareness
Students learn techniques and perform rescue procedures from various general awareness situations, to include ring removal, child swing, auger entanglement, meat grinder, and impalement. In addition, lockout/tagout procedures for machinery are covered. The Classroom and Practical Skills segments of the program emphasize finding the simplest and most effective rescue methods, avoiding overcomplication of the situation. Prerequisites: 18+, EBM or ELIF, preferred BVR series. Requirements:  PPE. The course is a Non-PSFA CEU program. Total hours = 8, CEUs =0.8. Min/Max for class: 6 / 12
