Origins of the American Revolution

What were the political, philosophical and economic causes of the American Revolution? We will examine how the French and Indian War caused taxation policies that were objected to by the colonial British subjects, how the two revolutions in the 17th century in England played a part in the later revolution in America, and how political writers influenced American revolutionary ideology.
