Course Goal: To set forth facts that fire police training must be in depth, continuous and expanding; that only persons with intelligent dedication can meet the strict demands required for this type of duty assignment. Description of Course: This course will touch upon training and the training officer's qualifications, policy & procedures, legal liabilities, court appearance, leadership, communications and public relations, defensive driving, traffic control, security, self-protection and uniforms. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18 years old at start of course, and FIPO. Student Equipment & Supplies: Pen/Pencil, Notebook; and PPE. Course is a PSFA CEU program. Total hours = 16, CEUs = 1.6
