Man Vs Machine – Awareness Spring 2026

Students learn techniques and perform rescue procedures from various general awareness situations, to include ring removal, child swing, auger entanglement, meat grinder, and impalement. In addition, lockout/tagout procedures for machinery is covered. The Classroom and Practical Skills segments of the program emphasize finding the simplest and most effective rescue methods, avoiding overcomplication of the situation. 8-hours (Lecture=3, Skills=5), CEUs = 0.8.
  • Prerequisites: EBM or ELIF, preferred BVR series
