Fireground Support (ELFS) - Extended with CPR, HMA, & TIM for Non-Monroeville FD Members

Please read:  Location: Monroeville Public Safety Training Center, 2465 Johnston Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146 Starts: Monday, August 3 at 6 p.m. Runs: Monday & Wednesdays, August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, & September 2 & 9, 6-10 p.m., & Sundays, August 9, 16, & 23, 8A-4P This is the new PSFA Essentials Series, Level 1 (EL26-ELFS). Prerequisites: Minimum age: 14 years old at start of course, MANDATORY Attendance of 80%, no skills can be missed. Skills make-up is available, and subject to instructor availability – additional fees may apply based on skills needing to be made up; see policy on website. Requirements: Turn-Out Gear (TOG), not needed the 1st night of class, Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills, Fifth Edition (ISBN:9781284298000), 20 ft. piece of rope (min. 7/16” dia.); book available for rental at $10.00 per person per class Level. Program includes: Traffic Incident Management (TIM), BLS CPR & First Aid, and 8-hours of exam prep. Support Firefighter NFPA 1010 Certification (Optional): Sunday, September 13 with report time of 7:30AM at WCCC-PSTC; Exam cost is $250.00 and is separate from course cost. Tuition / Material Fee for ELFS: Monroeville FD Members – Material Fee of $45.00 (AHA Cards), for Non-Members - $310.00 + $45.00 (AHA Cards). Min/Max for class: 10 / 30.
