Fireground Support (ELFS) at East Huntingdon Twp FD for Non-Members

Please read:  Location: East Huntingdon TS FD, 120 Fire Department Rd, Tarrs, PA 15688. Runs: Monday & Wednesdays, June 17, 22, 24, & July 1, 8, 20, & 22, 6-10 p.m., & Saturday & Sunday, June 27, & July 19, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., & Sunday, July 26, 8 a.m.-Noon. This is the new PSFA Essentials Series, Level 1 (EL26-ELFS). Prerequisites: Minimum age: 14 years old at start of course, MANDATORY Attendance of 80%, no skills can be missed. Skills make-up is available, and subject to instructor availability – additional fees may apply based on skills needing to be made up; see policy on website. Requirements: Turn-Out Gear (TOG), not needed the 1st night of class, Fundamentals of Firefighter Skills, Fifth Edition (ISBN:9781284298000), 20 ft. piece of rope (min. 7/16” dia.) Starts: Wednesday, June 17 at 6 p.m. Runs: Monday & Wednesdays, June 17, 22, 24, & July 1, 8, 20, & 22, 6-10 p.m., & Saturday & Sunday, June 27, & July 19, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., & Sunday, July 26, 8 a.m.-Noon. Support Firefighter NFPA 1010 Certification & Traffic Incident Management Personnel Exam (Optional): Sunday, August 2 with report time of 7:30AM at WCCC-PSTC; Exam cost is $250.00 and is separate from course cost.
