Modern Fire Department Operations (MFDO) for South Strabane Fire Department

An intense combination of three (3) PSFA courses, specifically Engine Company Operations (ECOP), Truck Company Operations (TRCO), Structural Burn Session (SBS), with additional 4-hours of hose/ladder drills and 8-hours of "Live Fire" roll-in exercises. Students that successfully complete this program will receive four (4) certificates, one for each PSFA course, plus a Westmoreland Exclusive certificate of completion. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18 years old at start of course and completed ELIF or EBM. Student Equipment & Supplies: Pen/Pencil, Notebook, TOG, SCBA, & spare cylinder. SPECIAL NOTE: Due to scheduling the Class A burn building a 60-day notice is required for a fire department scheduling. Course is a Non-PSFA CEU program. Total hours = 60, CEUs = 6.0

Please read:  Location: South Strabane Fire Department, 172 Oak Spring Rd, Washington, PA 15301 13-Days: Thursday's, September 5, 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, November 7, & 14, 6-10P, & Sunday, November 10, 8A-4P, & Saturday, November 16, 6P-2A. Please note Sunday, November 10 & Saturday, November 16 will be at WCCC-PSTC, 65 Public Safety Drive, Smithton, PA 15479 for "Live Burn" sessions. In addition, some Thursday's will be offsite and may be at WCCC-PSTC, and will be determined based on associated skills and props in the area - will be determined by instructor staff and department officers.
