Driver/Operator Aerial Apparatus Exam Skills Prep

A more in-depth course for the aerial apparatus operator including more practice time. Includes information on proper maintenance and testing requirements. Includes: hydraulic systems, loading safety considerations, telescoping & articulating devices, set-up and safe operation and operating ranges, some placement considerations and maintenance and testing requirements. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18 years old at start of course and meet the requirements for PSFA Driver/Operator Aerial Exam. Student must provide bunker gear, notebook, pen or pencil, and an aerial; no aerial is needed the first night of class. Course is a Non-PSFA CEU program. Total hours = 12, CEUs = 1.2
