Night Burn Structural Burn Session. Course Goal: To enable the student to safely attack and extinguish an interior fire in a structure as a member of a single line hose team. Description of Course: This course will provide the student with a review and application of the techniques used in safe firefighting practices in an actual fire environment. Emphasis is placed on safety for both interior and exterior operations. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18 years old at start of course and ELIF or EBM. MINIMUM of 16 students for course to run. Student Equipment & Supplies: Pen/Pencil, Notebook; helmet, gloves, turnout coat, turnout pants, boots, protective hood, and protective eyewear (safety glasses or goggles), and SCBA and spare cylinder required. Course is a PSFA CEU program. Total hours = 16, CEUs = 1.6
